Becoming a Toastmaster will help you develop and improve your communication and leadership skills. Toastmasters offers a supportive environment for learning to prepare and present speeches, listen to and evaluate speeches, "speak on your feet" and build leadership skills. By participating regularly in meetings, members soon become confident, capable communicators and leaders.
The Young Professionals Toastmasters Club is aimed at helping young Winnipeggers become better communicators, and in the process, help them achieve their goals. Membership is open to any person over 18 years of age. With your membership fee you'll receive access to Pathways, the Toastmasters online education program. There are many Paths available to choose from so you can gain the speaking and leadership skills that work best for you and your goals. You progress through the program at your own pace.
